![]() I believe the error originates somewhere in the cables or in the contact points between the cables and straps. Once I eliminated the fixed end conditions and reinstated the contact points between the straps and the top and bottom cable I received an Invalid “Geometry” error. ![]() I placed fixed end boundary conditions at the top and bottom of the straps that are supporting the traffic signals and ran the analysis and received no Invalid “Geometry” errors. I ran the modal analysis by clicking solve and received an error stating Invalid “Geometry”. However, I will only include the modal analysis in the file that I will attach to my post. I set up a modal analysis and a static structural analysis. I've been working on a model of a cable supported traffic signal assembly attempting to obtain its natural frequency and to simulate the response of the assembly to various wind induced forces.
